Our Priority NECRU

2022-2023

The project ‘Our Priority NECRU’! will provide a concrete service in the municipality, such as that of needs assessment and case referral. Being a very important structure, but lacking in the municipality, the project can provide this service to the local community. The implementation will continue in parallel with the increase of the capacities of the engaged staff, the infrastructural preparation but also the provision of the direct service. The project addresses the priority of social services by increasing the quality of services in the municipality. The project will also come as an advocacy by providing positive examples of how local public institutions should provide services to their communities. The project aims to include this structure set up during 2022, in the municipality upcoming years' budget plans and to be an ongoing service. The drafted documents will refer to the legal framework, and will serve as a guide for any staff in the municipality that will be engaged in this service. The services will be provided directly depending on the concrete needs and suggestions from the municipality, targeting the main target groups: Persons with disabilities, the education of the Roma and Egyptian communities, and the empowerment of women and children.
